The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in the year 1998. Our Mission is to provide quality education to the students from all over India. Apart from making them good technical people in various technologies, we also provide individual attention to make them good citizens of our nation to serve the public and industry..

TEC’s tradition of teaching excellence, the Department with 16 faculty members and 390 students work closely together in an open, collegial atmosphere. With Anna University's curriculum, the Department places equal emphasis on theoretical and experimental Information Technology.

Computer Science and Engineering shares the mission and vision of the institute in imparting high quality education to the students will perceives the computer fundamentals and fulfilling the requirements of the syllabus prescribed by the University.

The Department has been accredited for three years with effect from Sep 2004 –Sep 2007 by the National Board of Accreditation.
